This is our mill for the homebrew shop. After crushing 25,000 lbs of grain we finally had to replace it. @natesautomotive helped us today, it took a 20 ton press to remove the Lovejoy from the shaft! www.1strepublic-homebrew.com #homebrewshop #homebrewing #crushinggrain #vermonthomebrew #monstermill #lotsofgrain #homebrewers #homebrewingfans #homebrewer #homebrewfanatic #homebrewstories #homebrewingequipment

Style: Porter - Other
ABV: 6.4%
IBUs: 25
# Ratings: 603
Score: 3.69
This brew is an unfiltered brown porter, which is perfectly balanced between malt sweetness, and smoke malt. Four distinct malts have been blended into this porter to give it a great body with characteristics of chocolate and caramel. This beer has a higher alcohol level coming in at 6.4%, but you would never know it. This porter is a very smooth brew to drink and very drinkable. Be careful with this one!

RPA - Republic Pale Ale is hop forward. Slight spice from the bittering hops with tropical notes in the aroma and flavor. Specialty hops would be Zythos or Falconers Flight, a new blend of tropical hops.

Ceres who tops the Vermont statehouse. She is the goddess of agriculture and grain crops. Ceres Brown Ale is an American brown ale. Caramel and roasted notes give way to floral and citric aroma. It has a bite in the beginning but dissipates quickly to give way to the malts of the beer. Our newest beer in the lineup.

This is a unique beer, typically wheat beers are very light, examples would be white beers, or any hefeweizen beers (minus the banana flavor). This has the great wheat flavors however incorporates darker malts to give it more flavor and character. You’ll find slight caramel and roasted notes, with a slight fruitiness from the hops. Very sessionable beer.
