We are beyond stoked to share this with you. (Wolves &) People’s Instinctive Travels. From the Oak. “The latest iteration of Instictive Travels is a showcase for Oregon craft maltster Mecca Grade Estate, and tropical and bold Galaxy Hops. It was brewed with 100% Pelton malt, bittered with Nugget hops, Citra hops in the whirlpool, and a heavy Galaxy dry-hop with Citra thrown in for dimension. Wolves & People wanted to bring Instictive Travels back as a mixed culture, all-Oregon malt farmhouse ale fermented in oak with brettanomyces. New on draft today, OUDE VAT [7.5%abv], which means ‘old cask’ in Flemish. Bière de Coupage dry hopped with Galaxy. A cellar blend of seven barrels of saison and wild ales that have rested with wild yeast and bacteria for up to two years, including Barrel One, our favorite (and the source of Felicitation #1), white wine puncheons from Anne Amie, and five other French oak, former pinot noir casks. After selecting the blend we dry-hopped this rich, layered wild ale with a restrained helping of aroma hops. The result is a complex, tart, aromatic, woody, nutty beer that evokes the very passage of time. Try it out at the tasting room beginning today! Open 12-8pm. Cheers!
