We're so stoked to be on this list of terrific breweries curated by Jeff Alworth! He writes about our commitment to farmhouse brewing, which runs deep! It's an honor to be a part of the amazing Oregon beer community! From the farm itself so far we've brewed with (or will soon brew with): Brooks plums, Santa Rosa plums, green gauge plums, hazelnut, dandelion, figs, blackberries, currants, Douglas fir tips, rose hips, stinging nettle, wild mustard, raw honey/honeycone, Mt. Hood hops, cattail... From neighboring farms and wilds: kiwi, golden raspberry, strawberry, elderflower, wild ginger, white truffle, rhubarb, Montmorency cherry, organic peach, cilantro honey, cypress, agave, lemon verbena, salmonberry, lemon balm....

Happy Friday folks! Along with abundant sunshine in the biergarten we’ve got something very special on tap this weekend, starting tonight. Neuberg, our new homage to our hometown and Bavarian standards has been years in the making! Like one of our faves Mahr's Bräu Neuberg is a 5% kellerbier kissed with Northern Brewer and Hallertau Mittlefruh. Newberg, our hometown, was named for Neuberg an der Danau, a beautiful brewing and malting town in Bavaria, by a pioneer named Sebastian Brutscher, whose former property we now call home. He grew hops and wheat himself! We cannot wait to share this traditional unfiltered lager with you! It’s bready but bright, crisp, and flowery-fresh with a pillowy soft mouthfeel and perfectly assertive, balanced spicy bitterness. Some call it kellerbier, kellerpils, vollbier, zwickelbier, or even unguspundet hefetrub. Special thanks to Kevin Davey of Wayfinder Beerfor advice on spunding, or naturally tank-conditioning this lager, which spent 9 weeks in our trusty Fermenter IV. The tasting room and beer garden are open tonight 4-8pm, and tomorrow from noon-8, Sunday noon-6! As they say in Neuberg, ein prosit! PROST!

The first in a series of house season blends coming from our oak cellar! This blend features one white wine puncheon fermented saison, and one 14 month Pinot noir barrel aged saison. The blend of these two Oak vessels works to create a golden hued, lightly tart beer bursting with bright flavors of a white grape, peach skin, and grapefruit with a subtle yeasty-ness from our house saison strain. A beer for the summer days to come in deed!

With a mixed-cukture feementarion of all-wild yeast from our two farms, this American wild ale of pilsner malt, red wheat, and rye was coronated with a side of juicy citrus zest from the Lonesar State & a big bucket of fir needles harvested steps from our kettles in Oregon, then 100% fermented and aged in oak for a year.
