What a crazy, wonderful, busy, heartwarming Christmas Tree Season we had here at Legacy Farm! We are both happy and sad to announce that we have SOLD OUT of Christmas trees, and are officially CLOSED for winter. We had a wonderful crew that worked very hard to insure that EVERYONE had a great experience with us. We hold certain values above profit, and everyone working with us share and demonstrate those values. I can tell you that there is a military family, a family with a special needs child, and a family dealing with hard times that are enjoying a Christmas tree and the memory of coming to our farm. These families paid nothing for this experience. This was not planned, these families came to our farm knowing that we have activities and photo opportunities (Santa) that we do not charge for. We interact with all our customers, and after learning of their circumstances, we chose to make their holidays a little brighter. Why? Because we are incredibly fortunate to do what we do, and giving something back to someone who, for whatever reason, is not as fortunate as we, is what Christmas is all about.
We are awed by the number of families that come back year after year, as well as the new customers who tell us they can’t wait to come back next year. Our hearts are full with the many blessings we receive when we look into those little faces, the laughter we hear as they run to jump in Santa's lap, or race to give us a hug when they arrive with their families being so proud to show us they dressed as elves to visit us. Or even the squeals of excitement when they discover the Grinch hiding in the trees, and can't wait to run back to tell us.
All of our crew can share stories they have had with families this year, some with the tree crew giving high fives to a young boy because he helped cut the tree, to the family who gave extra money paying it forward to help the next person in line, to the amazing photographers that share this lil farm with their patrons. We are asked all the time, why do we put so much work preparing for 5 short days, and folks our answer is it's Christmas, its the season for giving for the gift of living that we have been given. And it fills our hearts. ❤️
We are absolutely humbled by the response to our little farm, and look forward to serving everyone for years to come...Thank you all, for allowing Our Legacy to Become Your Tradition!
