The return of Appalach is early this year and this time in 32oz to-go cans! ————————————————— This is our ode to the early days of brewing in America. Our brewing company is in a region that was once called Germanna, where German settlers who were skilled in mining were brought in to work the land for its iron ore deposits. These families would have also brought some of the first inklings of lager brewing to the new world. They may have had some grain and hops from the old world and tried to replicate cold storage. We know that those beers would have been very expressive and slightly primitive but brewed with great care. Once they moved from these lands they were the first people to settle the land we call Appalachia and where this beer gets its name. The mountains, rivers and streams of the blue ridge can be seen on its labels as well as a golden orange sun (the color of this beer) all things that make this beer possible. ————————————————— Ps. The mountains don’t change color when they get cold. #appalach #appalachia #appalachian #appalachiantrail #germanna #german #lager #historical #farmhousebrewery #refreshing #twist
