Score: 3.91
Happy Hops was originally brewed by the Grace Brothers Brewery in 1944 right here in Santa Rosa! Their brewery went out of business in the 1960’s, but we wanted to resurrect “Happy” and a new fun beer for him to enjoy! It is also a way for us to pay homage to the Grace Family and their brewing pioneer history. Happy Hops is an incredibly hoppy India Pale Ale with an immense hop aroma and flavor and a mild bitterness.

Ales For ALS
Style: Pale Ale - American
ABV: 6.0%
# Ratings: 1
Score: 3.50
This is a strong pale ale we brewed as part of a national fundraiser for Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS, Lou Gehrig's disease)! All 40+ participating breweries have brewed their own style of beer using the same blend of experimental hops donated by Loftus Ranches and Hopunion. Vinnie and John Mallett from Bell's Brewery hand-selected the hops while in Yakima during last year's harvest. It has been fun to be a part of the inception of this great cause! Each brewery will donate $1 per pint to the ALS Therapy Development Institute. Please help us help those who are fighting this debilitating disease. Check out www.alesforals.com for more information and for a list of participating breweries!

Dark Ale aged in Cabernet Sauvignon barrels from local wineries. It is aged for 4 to 8 months with black currants, brettanomyces, lactobacillus, and pediococcus added to each barrel. Rich flavors of chocolate truffle, spice, tobacco, currants, and a bit of Cabernet. Very full-bodied, sip slowly!

Blonde Ale aged in used Chardonnay barrels from local Sonoma County wineries. It is aged for about 9 to 15 months (depending on the age of the barrel) with lots of brettanomyces, lactobacillus, and pediococcus added to each barrel. Medium bodied with hints of oak and Chardonnay, funky brett characteristics, with a nice, long sour finish.
Style: American Wild Ale

100% Brettanomyces Fermented Golden. The base recipe is for a Golden Ale, but they did not do the primary fermentation with 100% brettanomyces. The brett gives it some sour notes but not as much as it had been aged with lacto and pedio. It's rather refreshing on a warm day!
Pliny the Younger

100% Simcoe hops make up this beer from start to finish! It is named for the location in the experimental hop yard in Yakima, WA, where it was first created. Simcoe is grown by 3 families in the Yakima area, from all of whom we buy this particular hop (and other hops) — Carpenter, Perrault, and Smith. This is one of several beers we plan to make in our NEW “Hop Grower’s Series” highlighting certain hops from our growers! It has that trademark Simcoe nose with citrus and pine, nice bitterness and tasty hop flavors round it out.
STS Pils
Style: Kellerbier / Zwickelbier

KELLER PILS STS Pils is a classic European style Pilsner. It is straw in color and often times will have a slight haze due to the fact that it is unfiltered. STS Pils is a hop forward pilsner with a mild malt foundation, strong lager yeast characteristic, and a dry, bitter finish.

Aud Blonde
Style: Blonde Ale
ABV: 4.5%
IBUs: 19
# Ratings: 12,620
Score: 3.37
Aud Blonde has a refined characteristic, which can be contributed to us blending pilsner malt with a unique hop called crystal. The distinctive characteristic of the crystal hop lends a citrus, almost eucalyptus quality in the aroma and mouth feel of the brew, while leaving the beer with a long dry finish.
Style: American Wild Ale
ABV: 6.0%
# Ratings: 12,175
Score: 4.42
This beer is very unique and inspired by breweries in the Lambic region of Belgium and, especially, our friends at Cantillon. It is 100% spontaneously fermented, meaning yeast is not added. Once the beer is brewed, it is transferred to a cool-ship or “horny” tank located in our barrel room at the pub. There it sits overnight and collects whatever funky wild yeast and bacteria may be living in the room. The next day it is transferred to oak wine barrels where it ferments wildly and ages for a few months. The end result is a wild, spontaneously fermented, sour, and tasty hand-crafted beer!

Defenestration means to throw something or someone literally out the window. The Defenestrations of Prague occurred in the 15th and 17th centuries when revolutionaries tossed unwanted politicians out a third story window of the castle, something we found amusing on a trip several years ago. This is our light-humored way of poking fun at the political state of affairs in our country and beyond! Defenestration, the beer, is an India Pale Ale fermented with a Norwegian Kveik yeast and bottle and keg conditioned with Saccharomyces and Brettanomyces.
