Inspired by the pioneers of old and the enduring orchards they trekked westward with, our award winning Afton Field is wild at heart and a true taste of American cider history; this year’s vintage being no exception.
Crafted using juice from hand picked & pressed Wickson Crab, Newtown Pippin & other pioneer apple varieties that were sourced from local orchards in the Willamette Valley, this American Farmhouse cider is as orchard to bottle as it comes. Barrel aged for one year in Chardonnay barrels, the 2017 vintage shows a beautiful marriage of oak, complex farmhouse notes of grass, hay & wild yeast with just a hint of sherbert.
Sitting at 6.4% ABV, the 2017 Vintage Afton Field is bone dry, unfiltered, and, as always, uncompromising, but will find itself perfectly at home on the rustic table! Available everywhere our Traditions line of cider is sold, as well as online at our Cider Shop!
