And all the brewers say it’s pretty fly for a Mai Tai! For this weekend only we have a special sour on draft in the Tasting Room & Kitchen. Pretty Fly For a Mai Tai is a single rum barrel of golden sour beer that is infused with orange peel, lime juice, and almond simple syrup. On a whim (and after a few post shift tiki drinks) the brewer’s decided to concoct their own sour version of a Mai Tai and we have to say… it’s pretty fly! Only a limited amount available stop by to enjoy this weekend.

Seditious Ways is a blend of dark sour beers aged in oak barrels with tart cherries. This blend consists of two different batches of dark beer. About half of the barrels used in this blend were fermented with Brettanomyces yeast and Lactobacillus bacteria. We wanted to accentuate the smooth chocolate notes and dial back the acidity prior to adding the cherries, so we blended in a dark non-sour beer that was fermented with English Ale yeast. The addition of the tart cherries adds a bright stone fruit character that counters the rich base of this dark sour and creates one lucid thought.
