SABRO FRESH HOP PALE ALE will be on tap today when we open at 3! This Pale Ale was brewed with two row, Pilsner malt, flaked barley, and hopped with approximately 20lbs per bbl of fresh Sabro hops. Sabro has a pretty crazy tropical fruit character and it really shines in this beer with strong notes of pineapple & coconut. Available on draught and in growlers until its gone.

Tomorrow (Friday, September 14th) at 12noon, we'll be releasing bottles of the 2018 Midnight Still variants along with bottles of King's Head. MIDNIGHT STILL: HAZELNUT/CACAO This Midnight Still blend incorporates stock of imperial stout aged in Kentucky bourbon barrels for 17 months and 12 months. The blend was then transferred into a stainless tank, where it aged on top of roasted hazelnuts and cacao nibs. 13% ABV $20/500ml bottle, 2 bottle limit per person, per day MIDNIGHT STILL: COFFEE/CARDAMOM This is our "Turkish Coffee" blend that incorporates stock of imperial stout aged in Kentucky bourbon barrels for 17 months and 12 months. The blend was then transferred into a stainless tank and aged with coffee and cardamom. 13% ABV $20/500ml bottle, 2 bottle limit per person, per day KING'S HEAD is our Double Oat Brown Ale brewed with a large portion of malted and unmalted oats. It was fermented with an expressive English Ale strain and then transferred into freshly emptied Kentucky bourbon barrels, where it continued to age for 1 year. 11% ABV $18/500ml bottle, 3 bottle limit per person, per day Kegs of all 3 beers will also be on tap when we open Friday. Bottle sales will be available starting at 12noon through the alley (WEST) entrance of the brewery. Please NO DRINKING in line or anywhere outside of our building and please no line cutting. We also ask that everyone be mindful of any "No Parking" signs in neighboring lots as your vehicles can be towed if parked in clearly marked spaces. Thanks and we hope to see you Friday!!

In the spirit of Fresh Hop season, we'll have 2 fresh hop infused kegs on tap today when we open at 3pm! 1 - Citra Extra Pale infused with fresh Citra hops (no-brainer) 2 - Crystal Ship infused with fresh Sabro (aka 438) hops. Sabro has a crazy tropical / pineapple / pina colada / peach gummy ring character to it and it plays really well with this foudre-aged mixed culture Saison. We only infused one keg of each of these beers, so no growler fills. Come try them before they're gone!

Today we wrapped up our first 2 Fresh Hop beers of the season! The first was a Pale Ale brewed with fresh Sabro (aka 438, aka Ron Mexico, aka Ron Hawaii). The second was an IPA with fresh Citra & Simcoe. Keep an eye out for these in the Taproom in the next couple of weeks!

We have 2 new beers on tap today! CITRA EXTRA PALE is a single-hop Pale Ale brewed with Pilsner malt, wheat, and 2-row, and hopped heavily and exclusively with Citra. FIRE OF THE WORLD is a London-Style Porter brewed with Thomas Fawcett Maris Otter, flaked barley, pale chocolate, and a touch of roasted barley. It's hopped lightly with EKG and fermented cool with one of our favorite yeast strains originating from London. Both beers will be available on tap and in growlers when we open today at 3.

Hand of Glory is an English style Barleywine brewed with Simpsons Finest Golden Promise and hopped with EKG. It was fermented with a traditional English yeast strain and transferred into 13 year old Kentucky bourbon barrels to age for 8 months. It was then transferred into former Kentucky bourbon barrels that had recently held American Apple Brandy, where it continued to age for an additional 8 months.

The Goat is our rustic brett saison, brewed with barley, rye, oats, and wheat, and heavily hopped with European hops. This batch was fermented in our foudre with two saison strains and brett, then allowed to age for three months. The Goat was refermented in the bottle with brett, and has been conditioning for four months. Although we plan to brew The Goat again, there will never be a batch like this, and we don’t have immediate plans to ferment another batch in the foudre or to age it for so long before release. This batch has white wine notes from the brett, opening up with pear, mint, and oak. Bone dry and 4.9% ABV, this beer is wonderfully effervescent, perfect for summer drinking.
