Session Premium lager is an extremely tasty import-style lager, like the kind of beer made back in the pre-Prohibition days— plenty of flavor that goes down clean and smooth. American and European hops offer a wonderful noble hop aroma, and the two-row barley malt and a touch of wheat malt give a pleasant, refreshing finish.

Most beers this dark are so heavy-duty, you could eat them with a fork. Not Session Dark. You’ve heard of tall, dark and handsome? Well, Session Dark is short, dark and drinkable. With notes of roasty chocolate, it’s the perfect complement to original Session – a dark beer that doesn’t drink like a meal. Twelve time gold medal winner. ABV 5.4% IBU 22

A few unmistakable signs tell us when winter has arrived here in Hood River. The waterfalls in the Gorge start kicking out the jams. The snow report for the backcountry regains its hold over us. And the Wassail starts flowing once again. We’ve brewed Wassail every holiday season since 1988, and it’s now as much a part of the festivities as sharing a roaring fire with our closest family and friends. A deep mahogany color, Wassail is brewed with four different malts and a blend of Pacific Northwest hops, giving it a malty full body and a pleasantly hoppy finish that appeals to both hop and malt lovers alike. In other words, a Christmas miracle. ABV 7% IBU 56

While our Cascade Pils is inspired by classic European pilsners, this beer is really a celebration of the fresh, local Cascade hops grown by family farmers right here in our beloved Pacific Northwest. It has intense aromas of citrus and pine, supported by a medium body and dry malty palate. As you savor that unmistakable aroma and long, clean hop finish, tip your hat (and your glass) to the generations of hop farmers who help us live the locavore dream every day. ABV 6% IBU 60
Hop Pursuit IPA

Score: 3.66
Hop Pursuit is the ultimate celebration of Oregon agriculture and Pacific Northwest Hops. Our brewers shoot a wonderfully hoppy surplus of Cascade, Mosaic, Equinox, and Simcoe into the fermenter using our Hop Shooter, dry hopping the beer and enhancing the aroma of pineapple and late hop flavors. Piney and mango notes follow with a mid-palate hint of honey. Two-Row Northwest Pale, Caramel, and Munich malts provide the right amount of malt character. Balanced by a clean, caramel malt body, Hop Pursuit's multi-layered hop flavors lead to a crisp, assertive finish.

IPApaya was born out of our interest in the tropical aromas of Northwest hops. Pale and wheat malts along with healthy additions of Equinox and Cascade hops provide the perfect golden base for the addition of papaya. The result is a refreshing IPA with the subtle essence of papaya. Tropical aromas of citrus, passion fruit, and papaya are well complemented by clean malt notes.

Session EZ IPA, it’s everything you always wanted in an IPA, only less. Wait. Less? You got that right. It’s an unfiltered IPA, with all the aromatic hops, fruit notes and citrus vibe that you and your taste buds desire – minus the mouth-puckering bitterness or the high-octane ABV. After all, it’s not called EZ for nothing.
Session Wheat

American-style Hefeweizen. It's medium-bodied featuring aromas of malted wheat with a citrusy hop finish. As with all great Hefeweizens, going back to their German roots, just enough residual yeast remains to give it a hazy golden pour.

We use eight pounds of fresh hops per barrel to brew this beer, but it's absolutely worth it. There are distinct flavors and aromas that you can only get brewing with fresh hops. Brewed in small batches, this beer is only available during harvest. Each hop variety reaches peak maturity at a different time during harvest, so each year’s brew is unique. This year's fresh-hop harvest yielded big, juicy Magnum hops which add a slight anise note and a fresh, green character to 8 Pound Pale Fresh Hop Ale. Opening with aromas of lemon and spice, 8 Pound Pale has a golden orange hue with a thick frothy head and a full malty body.
