Just an honest-to-goodness crushable beer. Bridge Beer is our take on light beer, with just a bit more panache. It doesn't demand hours of contemplation but you just might contemplate drinking it for hours.
The Spice Must Flow!

Dark Maple Syrup? Yup! Saigon Cinnamon? Absolutely! Fresh Nutmeg? Why not?! This creamy, smooth black ale is beautifully balanced and complex. Just enough spice makes this luxurious treat so nice. He (or she, or they) who controls the Spice, controls the universe!

Dessert for your desert island. Fudge and saigon cinnamon meld with a little bit of hazelnut goodness to produce something we liken to a cookie in beer form.
Dinner Bell (DDH Hazy IPA)

Our hoppiest beer yet! Over 5.5lbs of hops per barrel went into this one. Azacca, Cashmere, Mosaic and local hops from Buck Creek make this beer explode with tropical fruit and citrus flavors. Don't be the last one to the table when you hear the Dinner Bell ringing!

Our Imperial Märzen is a fusion brew with German and Czech roots in the recipe, as well as the name ("robot" is a word with Czech origins). Munich and Bohemian Pilsner Malt are the motherboard to this amped up version of the style, while a healthy dose of German hops provide fuel to keep it running Finally, our 2019 version spent 6+ months aging in Peerless Rye Whiskey Barrels to help grease the cogs and make sure it all computes.

Juicy flavor and a pungent, tangy nose of citrus and tropical fruit. A nice, clean bitterness paired with a slight alcohol heat and dry finish makes this an exceptionally easy drinking brew.
Disaster At Meux

Brewed to commemorate the 200th Anniversary of the Great Porter Flood of 1814 that occurred in London at the Meux Brewery. Biscuity, brown malt character and a bit of chocolate and coffee make this a nice, quaffable brew. Gold Medal at the 2015 Great American Beer Festival.
Olde No. 17
Style: Stout - Irish Dry
ABV: 4.8%
IBUs: 24
# Ratings: 1,489
Score: 3.80
The official beer of the Cedar Rapids St. Patrick's Day Parade Society (SaPaDaPaSo), and originally brewed to commemorate its 40th anniversary. This is the classic pub stout you know and love with a twist; 100 lbs of organic mashed potatoes were added during the brew to increase the dryness and slightly boost the alcohol. Roasty, with hints of dark chocolate, nuttiness and rich creamy mouthfeel. Sláinte!

Živá Voda
Style: Pilsner - Czech
ABV: 4.7%
# Ratings: 1,054
Score: 3.52
Named for the "living water" of Czech fairy tales that heals infirmities and counteracts spells. Bohemian Pilsner Malt adds subtle richness and accents of clover honey, while the addition of traditional Saaz hops throughout the run-off and long boil give this beer the distinctive earthiness and spice associated with authentic Pilsners. Lagered for 6 weeks and brought to you for St. Joe's Day and beyond.
Iron Lion
Style: Belgian Strong Golden Ale
ABV: 7.0%
IBUs: 20
# Ratings: 1,000

A riff off of a Belgian classic with a Caribbean twist. Pilsner malts and a light Belgian yeast character play nicely with the citric cranberry nature of Hibiscus. Beet sugar lends a pleasant sweetness to the finish while effervescent carbonation keeps it dry and clean.
Zack Morris Cell Phone
Style: IPA - New England
ABV: 6.8%
# Ratings: 989
Score: 4.01
At 5 lbs. of hops per barrel, this beer uses more hops than we’ve ever used before. Loral, Amarillo & Mosaic hops contribute a complex profile of dark fruit, stone fruit & tropical fruit, while restrained bitterness, a healthy dose of wheat & oats, and a touch of California sweet orange peel make this beer real tasty. Long ago, Quinton was at a bar in Colorado & asked an over-served gentleman what had put him in such a state. He replied, “The Zack Morris Cell Phone.” When Quinton attempted to order one himself, the bartender had no idea what he was talking about, and when he turned around, the man was gone. Over the ensuing years, no one else has ever heard of such a concoction. This IPA is our attempt to bring closure to this mystery.
Sticke Alt

A traditional German Ale that has a pleasing bronze hue, a rich malt body and a pleasant noble hop character. "Sticke" means "secret" in German, and was named so as it was historically released to celebrate the loyal brewery patron. We aren't good at keeping secrets, but we are honored to have you enjoying Lion Bridge beer!

Untitled Saison

Smoked Chocolate Stout

The velvety texture and flavor of the dark roasted "chocolate" malt is most definitely the centerpiece of this beer, but an addition of beechwood smoked barley throws in a subtle layer of complexity that makes you want to go back for another sip.

XXXX Compensation
Style: English Mild Ale
ABV: 8.2%
# Ratings: 413

Aged in Heaven Hill Bourbon and Rye Barrels, our take on a historic style of high alcohol Mild Ales. While it seems like a contradiction in terms, the XXXX Mild was a beer that existed in 1830 England before taxes dragged down alcohol levels in beer. Our XXXX is an homage to our world-class Compensation Mild and barrel-aged to make it just right.
