Getting weird up in Door County today! #Repost @haciendabeerco - - - - - - Brewing collab no. 2 with @1840brewing today—and this one’s headed for oak. We brewed a rustic saison incorporating toasted buckwheat and a bale of local hay in the mash. We’re splitting the wort—Kyle from 1840 will be taking his half down to MKE and fermenting in Pineau de Charentes barrels with a sour farmhouse mixed culture. Hanging with friends in Door County for a few days! #Repost Hacienda Beer Co. - - - - - - Kyle from @1840brewing is in town hanging with us this weekend. Today we brewed the first of two collabs—a juicy double IPA with Gewürztraminer grape juice and dry hopped w/ Nelson Sauvin, Cashmere, Huell Melon & El Dorado. Tonight we are co-hosting a beer dinner w/ @heirloom_cafeandprovisions, and tomorrow 1840 will be pouring at the Door County Beer Fest. To wrap it all up, we’ll be brewing a barrel collab on Monday, incorporating hay and some funky mixed cultures from both of our breweries. At 1840 Brewing Company we blend classic styles with modern flavors to make truly unique beers. Our beers are made using a variety of fermentation and blending techniques. Most of our beers spend their entire life in oak barrels, and all of our beers take between a few months to a few years to make.

Our production will be limited at first due to the slow nature of producing these styles of beer. As a result our tap room will only be open to the public the second weekend of every month. For more information please visit our website www.1840brewing.com

Our first BA Stout is ready right meow. The barrels used for this beer originally aged Bourbon and later Vermont's finest maple syrup. We designed the base beer to be chocolatey and fruity with no added flavoring shenanigans. Aged for over six months, and ready right meow, this beer pours a deep black with a thin brown head.
